(Semi-)Site Wide Search Example?

    Interested in doing a site-wide search which omits certain sections of the site content. Was thinking that a collection query with the path="/" and filter="{query terms}" would be a good start and then just doing sub-content queries on that for the sections we want to actually display results from, but was wondering if there was a cleaner way?

    To be honest, we don't have a great solution for this. If your site has tons of content, that could be slow, as no index is used. What about something like a Google Custom Search?
