using commas in a v:select tag
  • How would I use the comma character as part of a string for an option in a v:select tag? I want it to output this:

    <select name="income" id="income">
    <option value="Less than $30,000">Less than $30,000</option>
    <option value="$30,000-$44,999">$30,000-$44,999</option>
    <option value="$45,000-$59,999">$45,000-$59,999</option>
    <option value="$60,000-$74,999">$60,000-$74,999</option>
    <option value="$75,000-$99,999 ">$75,000-$99,999</option>
    <option value="$100,000-$199,999">$100,000-$199,999</option>
    <option value="$200,000-$299,999">$200,000-$299,999</option>
    <option value="$300,000-$499,999">$300,000-$499,999</option>
    <option value="Greater than $449,000">Greater than $449,000</option>

  • Just do:

    <v:select name="income">
    <option value="Less than $30,000">Less than $30,000</option>
    <option value="$30,000-$44,999">$30,000-$44,999</option>
    <option value="$45,000-$59,999">$45,000-$59,999</option>
    <option value="$60,000-$74,999">$60,000-$74,999</option>
    <option value="$75,000-$99,999 ">$75,000-$99,999</option>
    <option value="$100,000-$199,999">$100,000-$199,999</option>
    <option value="$200,000-$299,999">$200,000-$299,999</option>
    <option value="$300,000-$499,999">$300,000-$499,999</option>
