SVN error

    I get this error when I try to do an svn commit:


    Transmitting file data .svn: Commit failed (details follow):
    svn: Can't open file '/var/www/vhosts/rubykobo.verb/svn/db/transactions/47-1.txn/rev-lock': Too many open files
    mac-pro:rubykobo ginlane$

    I did a fresh checkout of the repository but I still am getting the error.

    any suggestions?

    I never updated the forum on this, but we got this resolved over IM. Thanks for your help in debugging.
