v:fragment cache and deployments

    When a staging environment is released to production, does this force all v:fragment caches to rebuild, or is there a way to force that to occur?

    I'm asking specifically because when changing the class of a cached element in a staging environment, it caused the page layout to break for several minutes until the cache was refreshed. So I'm wondering if this is going to happen when I deploy to production, or if the cache will auto-refresh.

    They are not force rebuilt at that point. What I recommend is just adding something to the cache key when you make a change like that.
