DNS requirements for hosting

    We are helping a mutual client set up hosting on VAE. Is it a requirement that VAE needs to have the authoritative nameservers, or can we add appropriate host records (A, CNAME, etc)?

    Hey there,

    You can absolutely do that. There are 2 ways 2 to point a domain to your Vae account:

    At your registrar, set the domain's nameservers to:

    NS1.HOSTED.BY.ACTIONVERB.COM
    NS2.HOSTED.BY.ACTIONVERB.COM
    NS3.HOSTED.BY.ACTIONVERB.COM

    Or, if you are already hosting this domain on a set of nameservers, you can also create a CNAME record pointing to:

    [site].vaesite.com
