Here be questions and here be answers.
I have a client who is uploading MOV and MP4 videos. I also need them to upload OGG files to play in certain browsers/devices.I believe Vae can currently convert MOV/MP4 to FLV, but are there other options available such as OGG available? If this could be done, it would save a lot of headache for the client.
Right now, we convert all videos uploaded to a Video Structure to H.264 format in the MP4 container. If we enabled Video structures to encode to Ogg/Theora/Vorbis as well, would that be useful for you? We could look into this.
Can you provide information on exactly what format you'd be looking to convert into?
With the new version of FlowPlayer that we just rolled out, we can now support iPad/iPhone devices, as well as any browser that supports Flash. We think that is pretty good coverage.
so how would I go about using the new player?
Ogg encoding would be extremely useful
